Our Story
Founded in 2013, Mela Productions and Event Technology started as a production partner for the DMV's event community and has grown into a full-service production and event technology company trusted by corporate clients — conferences, brand activations, and executive video — across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
We're rooted in this community, and that means our doors are open just as wide to the families and individuals in it. Alongside our corporate work, we bring the same production standard to life's milestone celebrations — weddings, graduations, and everything in between — for neighbors in DC, Alexandria, and across the wider DMV, not just companies with a budget line for it.
Today that means an in-house team covering photography, video, audio, lighting, live streaming, and design, so clients get one accountable partner instead of coordinating a half-dozen vendors for a single event.

Designs and mixes audio for everything from general sessions to live music, with deep experience in both corporate AV and touring sound.

Oversees camera, switching, and broadcast systems for multi-camera live events and streaming productions.
